In a trade-off deal confirmed on November 15, Siddesh Lad has moved from Mumbai Indians to KKR.
Despite being picked up by the Mumbai based franchise, Lad only made his debut in IPL last season.KKR In, which was also down to their skipper Rohit Sharma getting injured. Against Kings XI Punjab, he ended up making 15 runs in his only IPL game in career.
The middle-order batsman has also taken part in 38 T20 games and has scored 628 runs. His highest individual score of 82 came against Baroda in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in the 2017-18 domestic season. The 26-year-old is also a useful off-spinner, having picked up 18 wickets at an average of 18.83 in T20s.
The lad is the second player after Mayank Markande to be traded out by the four-time champions Mumbai Indians.
Earlier on November 13, it was announced that New Zealand speedster Trent Boult has moved from the Delhi Capitals to the Mumbai Indians, while a deadline day move saw DhawalKulkarni‘s return to the Mumbai franchise from the Rajasthan Royals.
