On 5th April, at 8:00 PM, the Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on the Kolkata Knight Riders as hosts, at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. RCB has not been able to garner even a single win this season, having lost all four matches that they have played up until now. It only seems like KKR will have the ball because they have two proven wins out of three games. In an overview, it seems both the teams are equal in mettle, but RCB has a lot to prove.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

Since Sunil Narine, the Kolkata Knight Riders’ star all-rounder retired injured, he could not play the team’s last match against the Delhi Capitals. In today’s game, he may replace Nikhil Naik. Along with Chris Lynn, Narine can provide a formidable opening for his team.

Probable Playing XI

Sunil Narine, Chris Lynn, Robin Uthappa, Nitish Rana, Dinesh Karthik (wk & c), Shubman Gill, Andre Russell, Piyush Chawla, Kuldeep Yadav, Lockie Ferguson, and Prasidh Krishna.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)

This season has not been very pleasant for RCB, they still got a lot to consider before deciding the playing XI for today’s match. Still struggling with the right team combination, one relief is that the team knows the pitch well and it is also where Yuzvendra Chahal has performed best.

Probable Playing XI

Parthiv Patel (wk), Washington Sundar/Moeen Ali, Virat Kohli (c), AB de Villiers, Shimron Hetmyer/Tim Southee, Marcus Stoinis, Akshdeep Nath, Umesh Yadav, Navdeep Saini, Mohammad Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal
