 IND vs AUS, 1st ODI, India made up its first defeat against Australia scoring 240/4 in 48.2 overs at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad

The 50 overs match had a good start with Australia winning the toss to bat. Khawaja and Finch open the match, batting from Australia. Shami from India opens the attack. Aaron faced a duck in his 100th ODI. Usman Khawaja, the top-scorer tucks up fetching his sixth ODI fifties. India gave a top bowling performance with Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav picking up a couple of wickets. Bringing up a classy shot, Australia scored 236 for 7 wickets in 50 overs.

Chasing a big total of 237, Indian players Dhawan and Rohit stars batting and Jason Behrendorff opens the attack. Though, India got off with a poor start losing Shikhar Dhawan for a duck, Virat for 44runs, Rohit and Rayudu. India’s backbone batsman lines up the show saving the day. The finisher, MS Dhoni goes in with the most sixes and the 71st fifty in ODIs. Dhoni finishes the match in style with two amazing four’s, taking the series win with 1-0 lead.
