1st Test at Adelaide: India defeats Australia by 31 runs, Pujara stood up in match

India has ended up its thirst after 10 years on winning the test match with Australia at Adelaide. Captain Virat Kohli’s team outplayed Australia by 31 runs in the first of the ongoing four-match series.

Proud to the Asian giants marking India as the first team to win a Test match in Australia, England, and South Africa in the same year. The epic match decision was torn out by India winning the series. Today seems to be the closest test run wins for India.

The team Captain Virat Kohli marked to be the first captain to win tests in Australia, South Africa, and England. Though Rahul Dravid and MS Dhoni won test matches in South Africa and England, they weren’t up to Australia.

Winning the toss, Kohli recorded with 1,000 test runs in Australia. In 20 tests, he won 17 with 3 draws.

The man of the match, Cheteshwar Pujara sets the Historical victory in both innings. Pujara scored a century in the first innings with a total of 123 runs followed by 71 runs (half century) in the second innings.

Ravichandran Ashwin (3) scripts the best spun a web around opponent batsmen as Jasprit Bumrah rattled the hosts with his pace. Following Ishant Sharma (3) and Mohammed Shami (3) chipped in saving wickets guarantying India stay in play.

Australia faced their rivalry with difficulty, withstanding the battle and lost by 31 runs.
