The 2nd T20I match between India and West Indies was held at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee International Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on 06-Nov-2018. India won the match by 71 runs and Rohit Sharma was awarded the Man of the Match. During the 2nd T20I, Rohit Sharma has created history again breaking past several records. He has become the first batsman to score four centuries in the shortest form of cricket (T20I).
Rohit Sharma also surpassed the Indian skipper Virat Kohli and become the highest run-scorer for India in T20Is. Rohit holds 2,203 runs to his name at the end of the 2nd T20I in Lucknow. Kohli who has been rested for this series holds 2,102 runs to his name. The other Indian batsman in the list for the highest score in T20I are Suresh Raina (1,605 runs), MS Dhoni (1,487 runs) and Yuvraj (1,177 runs).
Rohit Sharma now tops the list for players with 50-plus knocks in T20I. He has scored 50-plus score in T20I for the 19th time and has surpassed Kohli who has 18 50-plus scores to his name. After a long gap of 25 years, an International match was held in Lucknow, the Mumbaikar smashed several records and won a great applause.
