Record Breaking Innings from Kohli ends up in a Tie

Right after the first ODI, Virat Kohli, the fearsome Indian skipper needed 81 runs to become the fastest batsman to reach 10000 runs. Ever since he has made his debut in the format he has broken many records, now in the 2nd ODI he again played a record-breaking innings scoring 157* (not out) and helped India put forward a total of 321 for 6 in the end.

Even though the Windies bowling attack was keeping the Indian batsman tough to score, Kohli’s ton for Indian again made it get past 300 runs. The Windies batsman at the opening of innings struggled to score, but Shai Hope came in and played a remarkable inning for his team. Hope is a young talent who scored a ton (123*) to his name in today’s match. It is his effort which made the Windies Tie even in the last over when 5 runs are required from 1 ball. Hope smashed the last ball of the over real hard that it just went past the palms of Rayudu who tried to catch into the boundary.

The series is going to be tougher still as the points remain at 1-0. Keep posted about the live scores, live match updates for all formats of cricket through CricDost.
