Arjun Tendulkar is the son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. He has been named in the team for Indian Under-19 squad for the Two 4-day matches to be played in Sri Lanka next month. Arjun is 18 years old who is a left-arm seamer, has already been a part of the Mumbai Under-19 squad last year in the Cooch Behar Trophy. He astonished everyone with an impressive 18 wickets in the season.
He started playing at the age of 10 in the Under-13 tournament at Pune. Being a left-handed batsman and bowler during his schooling, he took eight wickets against Jamnabi Narsee School in Mumbai. He played his first National level match during Cadence Trophy Tournament (2011) held in Pune. Currently, he is named in the four-day squad, which will be led by Anuj Rawat.
